This guitar was refurbished by MIRC (which is why the serial number is reassigned). It is stamped "used" to prevent warranty claims. This guitar intonates and plays really well. This guitar has 2 sport where blemishes have been drop filled and buffed to a smooth finish. These drop this guitar from excellent --> very good in my assessment. Weight comes in at around 8lbs 7oz.
Step straight back into a wonderfully funky era with the Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster Bass. Paying homage to the highly elusive, humbucker-equipped low-end machines of the late 1960s and early '70s, this instrument seamlessly fuses timeless vintage aesthetic with modern, player-friendly performance. Coated in a rich, transparent Mocha finish and paired with a 3-ply black pickguard, this bass commands attention on any stage with an undeniable old-school cool.
Massive Wide Range Punch
At the heart of this beast lies a single Fender-Designed Alnico Wide Range humbucking pickup positioned right at the neck. Engineered to deliver a bold, room-filling low-end fundamental, it provides all the warm, pillowy thump you could ever want without sacrificing clarity. From smooth, melodic Motown lines to aggressive rock lines that pair beautifully with overdrive pedals, the straightforward master volume and tone controls put massive sonic authority right at your fingertips.
Built for Effortless Playability
While its look is heavily throwback, the feel is purely contemporary. A contoured poplar body features ergonomic arm cuts and belly contours for hours of comfortable jamming. The smooth, vintage-tinted maple neck boasts a user-friendly "C"-shape profile, a 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard, and 20 narrow-tall frets—offering a slick, fast playing surface that makes speedy bass runs a breeze.
Period-Correct Reliability
From its classic Telecaster-shaped headstock with period-inspired markings to its gleaming nickel-plated hardware, no detail has been overlooked. A vintage-style 4-saddle bridge with slotted barrel saddles ensures pinpoint intonation and stable string tension, while a genuine bone nut enhances natural resonance and sustain.
