This is a practice done between MIRC and fender to prevent warranty claims on guitars they send to them for refurbishment. This model has been tested and setup (with 10's). Everything is working as expected and there are no significant flaws of note. This model also feautures a conditioned fretboard and smooth frets and fret ends. Weight comes in at around 8 lbs 0 oz.
